Orcas Island Film Festival operates under Orcas Open Arts which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation focused on creating and supporting a variety of arts programs in the San Juan Archipelago.

We believe that the arts play a vital role in creating and sustaining a healthy community. Our mission is to foster a more connected, thriving, and creative community by supporting arts and arts education.

The flagship program of Orcas Open Arts is the annual Orcas Island Film Festival presented every year in October since 2014.
